I know what I want! 45 MIN Shows, Big wins and more bravery. Get rid of Offer Button and 23 then the show would be great again how about you?

Cut down on the unnecessary gimmicks. Do we really need THREE offer predictions?
Also, less of the chit-chat would be great but we know that won't happen.

More brave players to deal box 23.

More Banker spankings.

No mind games from the Banker.

Less cautious players.

Players knowing the %.

Good board readers.

A lot more of the button being in live play.

No more rubbish offers (Very unlikely...)

At least our big hope for 2014 (better offers) eventually came about. :)

Anyway, for 2015:

Better board readers on the wings.

Better offer predictions.

New options for Box 23 that encourage more people to buy it.

QUADRUPLE being an option for Box 23 in at least one set of specials.

NO MORE extra offers from the Banker except when the offer button is played. :smt011

Someone winning £100,000 from their box (last person to do it was Tabitha from September 2011).

A member of the QUARTER PENNY club.

Someone else on the forum being a contestant on the show.

A contestant on the show commenting on the forum.

Someone using the offer button before 9 box (just to see how people would react).

And, if and only if the offer is generous enough, someone dealing the 1st offer.

I would like a no-gimmicks 2015 bought back to the original format with the banker of integrity that doesn't ring back to adjust the offer based on the contestants initial reaction.

Better offers

Not as many gimmicks

Bring back weekend shows (I just can't get used to a Monday-Friday 5-shows a week format, it somewhat confuses me and makes me lose track of how long the players have been there for. Even during the second half of 2013 when they took off the weekend shows i was losing track of who had been there longest, and i hated how they abruptly shelved them again in September this year, then there was only Susan's in isolation, and we haven't had a weekend show since :? )

less cautious players

better advice-giving on the wings (no more of this "it's a great offer" nonsense when a player is given poor offers)

a significant amount of money being bet on box 23

Players dressing up as villains in either the bankers birthday week or Halloween week. So ones like Loki, the Joker, Darth Vader, Maleficent etc.

Less idle chit chat

A September that isn't cursed and dogged by bad luck

Overall, I'd like to see more variety and less of the nonsense that makes the show boring and predictable :)

Merry Christmas by the way ! :D

Another jackpot winner? Or is that asking too much?

With the stupid offer button and the amount of stupid caution these days, no.

Roop got extra offers this last February and still won the jackpot. I think whether or not there is a jackpot winner next year mostly depends on wether or not the show wants one. If they do, they'll just have the Banker lowball the serious offers at the first available opportunity create a jackpot winner and then hope that the player declines them and has the jackpot in their box. If not, they'll make sure that every player Deals before the end, eveb if it means the Banker offering over the odds at times (£88k Alex and £75k Nenad are two good examples of the latter).

Get rid of the offer button and NO extra offers outside of specials weeks maybe.

Also, I'd like them to contact me over my application and hopefully it'll be good news!

I'm not familiar with the offer button but it never offered any consistency with the offer positions. The concept of a permanent 4 and 3 box offer situation has always been a positive thing for me. It offers a good incentive for players to proceed past 5 box which is always nice. The push from 5 box to 2 box was usually met with caution as even with the odds on your side, players often disregard this.

I don’t have any problems with the Offer Button or Box 23. That being said, I think the show shouldn’t add any more game-changing gimmicks. Two is enough, and any others would probably not be well-received.

And even if they did add something else, what could they possibly add without it being highly bizarre? The Offer Button and Box 23 make sense in both use and practice - well, at least most of the time, they do.

One thing that bothers me is people’s adversity towards caution. This is a game that’s known for its volatile situations. Most contestants want to leave the game with something they can use, and they don’t often know about numbers, probability and statistics like most of you do. Thus, they accept offers that are good enough for them so that they can guarantee themselves some decent money.

The contestants are not playing for you; they’re playing for themselves or their families. Sometimes, you have to put the math aside and just realize that these people just want to better their lives by winning something.

Without the offer button we wouldn't have seen £80k Bill ;)

A return to 45 minute shows as this will cut down on the inane chatter. A forlorn hope I know but...
Less gimmicks definitey. I concede that box 23 was a necessary intoduction as if a player had an all blue 8 box the show needed something to keep the interest in it.

Could the show continue without Noel??????

Not a chance, not now. I'm certainly no fan of him but he has been brilliant for the show, a very ideal presenter. To at least *try* and maintain suspense during a guessing game for nearly 10 years is pretty good going and the show is easily resting on its hind legs now. Noel quitting would be the opportunity to finish the show and I do feel that that is what's more likely to happen, rather than a rug pull.

We must consider Noel's future as host in the long run. He is 66. Bruce has continued to host at an astonishing 86, 20 years older than Noel, but he is Bruce.

Ah, but Bruce's hardly at his best any more, although he does admirably indeed...I think Noel's got a few years on his side, however. I do agree that he's kind of the only thing keeping this show on the road, though. :smt023

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

It’s gotten to the point where Noel has become synonymous with Deal, and replacing him might cause the show to grind to a halt and fall off of a cliff, ratings-wise. He’s a terrific presenter, but I think the show would probably die without him at the helm.

Also, Bruce Forsyth is apparently immortal. I thought you lot knew that already.
