I'll let the forum decide on this.

NO. There wasn't much backup from the 250k. He did a good DEAL. £6,000 is a lot of money to people and he didn't deserve all of the criticism of all you lot.

It might of been cautious but understandable. He was unlucky around 8 box. The only mistake he made was missing on 6k out. He had a good game really and he didn't have any regrets, which is the main thing.

I am sure Hogwild will agree with me.

He didn't undersell a Power Five amount by a considerable margin, so no.

I think most of the members of this club got in for doing so. Phil did not, even if his deal wasn't the greatest.

Frankly, Ben, I don't think this - or any other topic you conjure up - is worth more than a minute's attention, least of all your 'Horrible Deals Club'. Like member, like thread.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

It was surely worth one more punt though?

He had a 66% chance of hitting a blue, doubling his money, and a measly 16% chance of hitting the 250k which would still produce some consolation 4 figure amount. Even if he hit the £10,000 i'd have expected a stick at the very least. Certainly not the best decision by any margin.

As for 'didn't deserve the criticism' welcome to the internet!

Maybe but he has different circumstances to me though. I would play on, but he didn't want too. At least he didn't win a blue though.
