Hey! As we've had a few talking points in games the last week or so (not least Noel's game! ), I thought I'd bring this back for a bit, albeit there will be intermittent updates

So, here's a summary of Noel's game (complete with personalised archived signed photo! )



Noel's game certainly wasn't short of drama, and pretty sound decision-making in the end. Perhaps a case for going at 8-box there even, but overall well played Noel and at least the game wasn't an anticlimactic trainwreck!

Pat and Steph:



The contestants certainly walked the tightrope in the first of these "grandparents" specials, and a stunning if slightly bizarre conclusion to proceedings. Figures here highly the precarious nature of the board as much as anything, perhaps easier to gamble in this week having not been as immersed in the game experience, and indeed with the strong possibility that you might not play at all!

Brenda and Danny:



Almost the opposite scenario to the previous game - a seemingly strong 8-box board with 3 of the power 5 reduced to dust and a horrible crash. However, they manage to secure a pedantic victory over Deal-Eye!

Jan and Amy:



Turning down £26k and dealing £18k were rather inconsistent decisions, but worked out in their favour. Having seen the previous game, their fear of the game slipping away was probably heightened, so can't really criticise their slightly cautious decision there.

Marie and Kelly:



I think the stats do quite a good job of reflecting that they "got out away with it". Wasn't much value in going on at 5-box (probably a better option to take that money to box 23 than risk winning a blue with little up-side), and zero value going on at 2-box. Lucky lucky lucky...

EDIT: Oh, and by any criteria of Deal-Eye's Box 23 gambling rules, it winds up winning more than the contestants there, which is *some* kind of justice!

And the final couples game:



Not much to say really. A decent result - reasonable, calculated risk at 5-box with the button, which goes full circle retaining the £10k at 2-box
