So you'd rather the whole show just be some random person doing nothing but saying numbers and a bunch of robots opening boxes? :suspect: :ponder:

I'll answer on his behalf.

Yes, yes it would make for a better show.

Replace robots with attractive female models, and you've basically nailed it.

Have I become that predictable in almost a decade in this madhouse?

Answer: Yep.

If you wanna see a DoND with no banter or fun bits, get out your March 2007 videos, where the people on the wings say practically NOTHING besides "Blue! Blue! Blue! Blue! Blue! Blue! Blue!....." :smt023

KP said someone who won 1p had a self inflicted trainwreck. It was a guy he said don't remember much. It was 2010-2012 era

I think he was referring to 1p Mev, who declined £10,000 on a 4 blues/£5k/£10k/£35k/£50k 8 box and then declined £7,000 and a spa break for his GF on a 2 blues/£5k/£10k/£35k 5 box. The Banker was so annoyed with his recklessness that he only offered him a SWAP on a 1p/£5,000 finish. In fact, everyone on the forum seemed to think the same, as not a single person (including Banker Spanker  ) cried foul play when the Banker offered the SWAP.

I didn't think it was reckless. I thought it was tight. After all we have seen a similar thing on a 1p finish before? PJ?

If Melissa from the week before the Xmas Shows hadn't lucked out on Box 23 would she be a contender for wrecklessly declining 23k

Yeah, I think so. That was fairly reckless, for me.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.
