Well according to one of your videos on Youtube, this twist makes SWEEPs less feasible. :ponder: My first guess of having friends and family replacing the wingers was way off, so I'll give it another try: maybe the Banker will give contestants a time limit to consider offers, and if they go over it he'll reduce the offer. :suspect: :ponder:

How can I put this...

The fact sweeps are now abundant are more an added feature to the set, however the brand new twist will be introduced New Years Day.

There's a toilet located in the studio which will in turn eliminate the need for toilet breaks, the game will just continue as the contestant undertakes his daily duties, perhaps while considering an offer.

Is it bad that I'm kind of nervous about this? Game shows don't exactly have a great history of being enhanced by format changes, however much people might think DOND needed one...

After the combination of falling ratings and conservative play in the final season at Paintworks, I expect it's something like Double or Nothing being made a permanent feature.

Millionaire made changes I thought would be good like the clock until after the £50k question but no it was still boring to watch.

Considering no Banker's Gambles has been taken in the past 20 months regardless of how generous they were (including £1,313 on £750/£3,000 and £12,081 on 1p/£100,000), that would be VERY stupid on their part as no one who won more than £1,000 would take it on.

I have another idea of what it may be, though. Maybe they'll have a Crazy Box like the Italian version has, and as soon as it is discovered the contestant will choose a prop that could seriously change the game, by doubling or halving the top prize, forse them to go back into the wings and have someone else chosen at random play out their game, let the Banker look in their box, and/or other things.

Of course, depending on what the twist is (IF there is one! ;) ), this could render the Deal-Eye calculation unviable in its current state... :?

The twist is that there is no twist. You are all getting worked up over nothing.

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Isn't it obvious? Hawker5ive a.k.a. Mad Mark becomes a permanent player on the wings, judging each game at the end with either "EPIC WIN"... or "INCINERATOR FOOD". :o

Thank you! :D

I've been here and there for the past several years. In that time, I've received a Bachelor's, a Master's, moved to a different state, have done podcasting and writing for BuzzerBlog and much more.

So yeah, I've been busy.

So, how will Box 23 affect the game? :ponder: I remember one guy on the Facebook page once commented

that they should have a Box 23 which allow low winners to trade in their Deal for potentially a better prize. Will this show turn into Let's Make a Deal? :ponder:

Could it be Box 23 that is under the cover? :ponder:
