This should be interesting.

I don't consider any offer to be 'bad', expect joke offers made with reds left on the board.

But a 'statistically poor' offer, or what I consider to be one, is one that is more than £1,000 below the FD.

What do you have to say? :smt023

An offer where the £250K and at least £15K are both remaining, and is under £100K.

Any offer on a strong 8-box that has 5 higher (e.g. Colleen, Tracey, Suzanne) or a 5-box offer with 4 higher

For me, at any point between 14-box and 5-box, anything under 30-35% of the mean. At 2-box, anything below around 65%.

A "bad" offer is one where it is obvious what the player will do. This makes for boring television.

A "good" offer provides some tension where you're not sure what they'll do.

The maths will come into play here but it'll be different for different contestants.

I would say one I wouldn't even consider dealing, from 11-box onwards. The first two offers don't matter much really. Also ones where I'd ask Noel for the question (and say deal) before he'd finished saying the amount. :)

My definition of a bad offer is
1. An offer under 20% of the average from 11 box to 5 box
2. An offer less than half the average at 2 box (as anyone who has the courage to go that far deserves a fair offer) or
3. An offer that is very close to the last one despite having a good round
