Why Do You Continue Watching ?
Poll ended at Sat Jan 31, 2015 7:13 pm
I am an 'orrible git and I laugh at people losing 21%  21%  [ 3 ]
I am psychologically addicted to TV and there's nothing on the other side to watch 7%  7%  [ 1 ]
I find Edmonds' circus show to be fascinating to study. It's a bit like watching a car crash, you know you shouldn't really be looking, but you're transfixed 14%  14%  [ 2 ]
There's someone fit playing 28%  28%  [ 4 ]
There's some delightful old person playing and I will laugh in glee whilst watching them attempt to flirt with Edmonds/fail to follow the rules/getting confused and accusing contestants of stealing their money (when they open up large sums) and will accordingly chuck rocks at them 7%  7%  [ 1 ]
It keeps my kid quiet for a while. It seems fascinated by Edmonds in particular, declaring him to be 'the embodiment of a feverish nightmare' 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
My TV is stuck on C4 as I lost my remote control and am too fat and lazy to get up to the Sky box and change channels manually 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
I usually stick it on when I've come back from the park, drunk off Special Brew I downed with the local scalliwags. I find myself in hysterics for no particular reason. It may be a result of the contestant getting too greedy and ending up with a tuppence piece 7%  7%  [ 1 ]
I will tune in and out and make a snarky remark on the contestants' appearance and, more particularly, Edmonds' 7%  7%  [ 1 ]
i luv the show. i lik how the boxes go boom wen they got open 7%  7%  [ 1 ]

Go on, reveal to us on what it is that keeps you tuning in every day.

You have two years to vote and each member has 3 votes each. If you change your mind, you are able to re-vote. I have allowed this because I am a pleasant man and believe in fair chances.

You may thank Skyline for suggesting I create a poll.

Right, get voting !

I haven't watched since January 2008. I've loved every DoND-related second of my 5-year exile, and I strongly encourage others to do the same.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Those "booms". So mesmerising. :eyes:

Well... I haven't watched DoND for a long time, I sometimes watched it while I was cooking/eating/washing up inbetween school and my job on Mondays and Thursdays in my school years,

...and these days I can't even watch it because between 4-5 I'm stuck in the chemistry lab! :smt019 Or on the baseball field.

I do kinda miss watching... but I'm always occupied and I'm waay too tired to catch it on the +1... or I would be standing in a queue at subway on a post-labs subway dunch.

A better question would be why does someone who doesn't like the show anymore keep posting on a fan forum?

;)

I went for options 3, 4 and 5, though more accurately I'd say I'm more interested in the 2006 repeats on Challenge becuase I enjoy reminscing about 2006 and remembering how much I fancied Melanie/Bianca/Amy/Jo, plus I can get through the games in about half an hour being able to fast forward adverts which you can't on 4OD.

I honestly much prefer the shorter shows. Sure you need an hour for a big character like Guiseppe or a really tense game like Nong's but the shorter games are suffice for the vast majority.

I had to vote number 1, it's side splitting laughter. Unfortunately there are too many players that fail to read the board in either extreme, whether it be a cautious deal or a reckless gamble, that make it so hilarious. So it seems the most relevant answer, none of the rest seem relevant as the show is nearly finished by the time I come home from work
