... why couldn't they have kept the initial Channel 4 showing at 45 minutes, and then show an extended hour long repeat on More4 afterwards? Like with HIGNFY? :D :smt023

That's actually quite a clever idea! QI does that too of course.

The only problem is that'd be more editing expense. I think the main purpose of 60 minutes was to reduce the cost per hour (seeing as the game's the same).
