You mean audience tickets? Those are always free. You can get them here

I'd love to go myself but with Bristol being 112 miles away from where I am, it's quite a distance to travel.

Apply for tickets and you will have a wonderful time :D

Just to reiterate what others have said - it's a great show to watch recorded. If you can't make it there and back in a day (which I'd imagine you wouldn't if you are travelling from Blackpool), I would suggest going for a whole day's recording and possibly travelling down the night before. There are plenty of reasonably priced hotels nearby - they will send you details of some of them when you apply for tickets.

This the worst thing I have ever seen.

*Were you there...

Transportation was a common punishment for things like that in another era.

Will there be any shows recorded in January / February 2013?

Me and a couple of friends are hoping to visit, would we be too late to get tickets for the specified period now?

I doubt they would have started booking for 2013 yet. From past experience, I've booked anywhere between 2-6 weeks before the filming date.

I travelled down from The Wirral a few years ago, Wirral is between L/Pool and North Wales.

Took me mum and sister as they love the show and we seen 2 episodes being recorded, 1st was a Geordie called Mark I think who I recall had a story about peeing in his bedroom corner when drunk, 2nd one was a young lady called TY and cant remember much about the game to be honest and probably because she was very good looking and dont think my eyes moved towards the board once.

Anyway drove their and back in a day and it was a killer, I believe they over give tickets and it's a 1st come on the day thing (although I am not sure anyone has ever been locked out). Would only go again if I could stay in a hotel nearby and would possibly see about seeing 2 days of filming but unsure whether they would allow that.

Apparently there is the occasional lockout (with a live feed in the audience holding area for people who can't fit in). However, on other days they actually have to get people from the nearby bar to fill the audience out!

You can definitely book more than one day's stay - several forum members have done exactly that (myself included). Laterooms.com is good for finding places to stay, and it's what I used for my pilgrimage earlier this year.
