Sorry but I think twice a day is too much. If they keep this up people would get bored with it

Well it's taking a break for the summer so there'll be too little DOND soon. I'd rather it was one a day throughout the summer rather than 2 per day for a week and then none for 5 weeks.

In my eyes Channel 4's only putting 2 episodes of DOND a day on to try and challenge the evening games of the World cup and it might just start backfiring on them, as people start becoming bored of it.

My opinion for why they have double deal week is to see how the viewing figures / competition entries compare, from daytime to evening.

If evening shows proove successful, they may transfer it to evening television.

Congrats on your 1,000th post. Don't agree with your football sentiments though!

Yeah, j'agree. I should have taped this week's episodes and watched them in the summer......although it would totally have ruined the continuity...

I just can't keep up with the new contestants. I missed 4 days and now I hardly know anyone on it. This spoils it a little really.

Well, 4 days normally equates to 4 new contestants, but this week, 4 days = 8 new contestants!

How many shows have we actually had this week (including the 2 Sunday episodes)?

[works it out in head]

1 on Sunday, 10 Monday to Friday, 2 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday = 14. Normally in an eight day period (Sunday to the following Sunday) we'd be treated to 6 episodes!

I like the idea of having more evening shows, but then you can always record the 4.15 shows and watch them later anyway.
