As a follow up to RMF's poll about Emma's game, thought I'd do one for Lee's game today, in the light of what BankerSpanker said on the thread for Lee's game.

I thought the mind games with Emma were out of order last week but today's exceed that by miles! Not only was £9,250 a crap offer but to influence Candice in this too makes this horrible to watch.

Absolutely. It's out of order when the Banker does nasty tricks like that.

Ah, but the Banker did go too far IMHO... :eyes:

...even though there is no disagreeing whatsoever that Lee has to be commended for putting Candice before himself, and getting her that extra £1k. ;)

Does that make me evil? :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

I don't mind if you say yes... honestly. ;) ;) ;)

Definitely NOT. I would've taken it... and I don't usually take offers. :D

Mind games, schmind games, Johnbristol1966 was right: DOND is not only about the money but the friendships you make. I'd be happier with £9,250 with £1,000 going to a friend than £10,000 all to myself...

Speaking of going too far... I think Holly went too far with that 'evil' comment... :P

I actually don't think this was half as bad as in Emma's game personally.

Knowing Noel and his memory, he probably thinks that was the first time something like that ever happened.

I've voted YES because I wouldn't want to see it happen over and over.

What would have made it worse today is that if he had offered something like £7k and £1k for Candice because actually £10k on that board wasn't a bad offer (and Lee actually took the offer which was £250 more than his solo offer)

I think Yes

The 'offer including money for other people' is pretty pointless and an attempt to try and blackmail the players IMO

We all know about Richard being offered money for Andrew in his game. I think another juicy example of it was the Leigh/Kulwinder thing in May 2009

I voted no.

Its been a while since The Banker's done this but its part of the game.

I share Simon's concern about being repeated over and over as that would dilute the impact of it.

But it made for compulsive viewing, and that can only be a good thing.
