I probably wouldn't be setting this poll if Emma had won the £50k, but anyway...

7 days to vote.

It's going to make everyone want to deal before 5-box if they're worried about that sort of thing happening - I honestly can't remember the last time someone did well out of the Banker seeing in the box, I can only think of Barnaby refusing to swap his £15k away and that was almost a year ago!!!

Nope, he's the banker and he can do whatever he likes.

Yeah, sort of.

I have seen some pretty cruel mind games on the show (Jen from Xmas 2010 springs immediately to mind), but the reswap was a bit too cruel. You can see why he did it though, seeing as his original plan appeared to backfire, and he was getting a bit desperate.

I don't mind the mind games (mainly because my philosophy is to just ignore them and judge the offer for the board). If I've got a big amount in my box and he wants to try and get me cheap then more fool him. If I've got a low amount in my box, then if the offer isn't good enough, I'll take my chances.

Even if he runs the risk of viewers turning off in disgust... :eyes: Image Image

I gather you didn't mind this mind game, then. Image

It did carry the risk stated above, though... I don't think you can argue with that. :eyes: :eyes: Image

So that's two of the No votes - where did the other four come from, I can't help but wonder...? :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: Image Image

And that's not to say that I don't respect such votes. I'm just surprised that there's so many of them. :eyes: :eyes: Image

Let's put it this way... if you said I had to have a twist and gave me a choice between what happened today and those post-game mini boxes, I'd choose today's every time....

Puts a mocker on people who say DOND is just about picking boxes at random.

I think it was a bit OTT

She was THAT close to a £50k win, but the banker had to ruin it with that twist  :(

It's a game, makes me laugh when people say about the money, if it meant that much she would have dealt at 17k surely.

I couldn't afford to turn down over about 12-15k for family reason's so I wouldn't, it's no surprise that the 250k winners have been young, no kids etc etc.

Well, this poll's only been open just over 21 hours - and already there have been sixteen votes.    ;) ;)

And the No ones are still coming - but, as things currently stand, we're split down the middle... :eyes: ;) ;) ;) ;)
