Has any other contestant had as many power 5 amounts/high reds as these two?

I've never seen anything like it, apart from Joey (babyfaced assassin) from 2006, but these are even worse!

10-Mar - Box 3 - £35,000
11-Mar - Box 13 - 50p
13-Mar - Box 13 - £250,000
14-Mar - Box 12 - £50,000
15-Mar - Box 9 - £75,000
16-Mar - Box 17 - 50p
17-Mar - Box 13 - £100,000
18-Mar - Box 15 - £75,000
19-Mar - Box 15 - £20,000
20-Mar - Box 13 - £100,000
21-Mar - Box 17 - £750
22-Mar - Box 21 - £500
23-Mar - Box 11 - £75,000
25-Mar - Box 15 - £1
26-Mar - Box 12 - £3,000
27-Mar - Box 10 - £35,000
28-Mar - Box 14 - £100,000

Exactly what I was thinking  ; I honestly think the producers make sure that most good board readers and Wakeyists have a low amount in their box when they play.

I actually laughed when they opened their box today, because I knew they would have either the £250,000 or the £100,000

Li Ping from last June has one blue in her nineteen show run!

Waraporn also had a lot of reds before her trainwreck game.

Doesn't matter... Even if they have another big number in their show they will probably deal before the end and blow it.

Let's re-oepn the old can of worms and ask once again... why would that matter one iota?

I absolutely agree with Joel. In case you didn't realize, twins are far less likely the £250,000 than any single contestant as they have to agree on every decision. Therefore, if just one of them really wants to Deal at 8 box, 5 box, or 2 box the other has little option to agree as they don't want to cost their twin good money (and don't use Zoe and Zara as a counter example as they had a low-tariff game and played in the mid-2008 horrible offers era :smt011 ).

Interesting theory.

It's a valid theory. I recall in Deb & Jan's game from last August, where they both said NO DEAL simultaneously to their first three offers, but when they dealt the fourth, Jan said it first, and Deb followed. Deb later revealed that she'd have risked it if she were on her own.

HOWEVER, they have to split the money, so they could think, well £20K is a good offer, but it's £10K each, worth the risk.
