Don't see why it's not worth doing a poll on this, seeing how much controversy it's caused so far this year (Georgina, Shaun, Irene, Jonny to name a few).

Basically, should the Banker be allowed to call back once he's made his offer, or should the phone be disconnected? Vote Yes for the former, or No for the latter. Polls close next Wednesday! :smt023

I don't mind him revising the offer before the player has said his/her answer (and assuming the poll is about this, then I have voted yes).

It's mid-round offers that I really hate.

Yes, I mean to either raise or lower the offer, or simply to try to convince the player to deal.

No.

Do you have to close your polls?

I'm not going to vote becuase I feel it depends on the situation.

Ringing back in Irene's game after she had said no deal for me was an absolute no-no though.

If the banker thinks the player is going to no-deal an offer, then I don't have a problem with him upping the offer. If they are an OHO then it won't make any difference and if they are a targetist, they might deal when the offer exceeds it.

No, cause if he tried to call back, I would do what Clive did and take the phone off the holder

What if you are a player who manages to bluff the banker into thinking you are going to no deal and then wait for a phone-call to up the offer and get more money. Not easy to do but it has been done in the past.

So, voting closes. 60% voted No, while 40% voted Yes. So a narrow win for the No campaign then!

Thanks to all who voted! :smt023
