Am I the only one who gets sick of this? I think it's just completely annoying and unnecessary.
It's usually "how would you feel selling the box for £x? *long pause* £x? *another long pause* £x? *yet another long pause* the Banker will buy your box for £x." (x = any number)

Not only is it annoying but it wastes time. I'm sure there are other people who think the same.

It's just builiding tension and any time he starts the sentence with "how would you feel", it's bound not to be the offer. Same as Chris Tarrant sometimes used to reveal the answer by saying if you had picked A, you would have lost £x thousand.

I quite liked it when Chris Tarrant said "If you had gone for (some wrong answer)... you would have just lost £x thousand" - but I too do not like Noel's messing about with the offers.

If he is trying to build tension, then he's trying too hard IMO.

It's clear he loves doing it, though - and if someone came up to him and told him to stop, he probably wouldn't react too kindly...

Noel needs to stop doing that as it can affect a players decision at a critical moment in the game

Chris Tarrant started it and the tension made sense then, Noel's does get a wee bit annoying from time to time but I don't really mind it.
