Who of the quarter millionaires do people like best out of Laura Pearce and Alice Mundy? would say it's a very tight call in my opinion, but if I had the choice with being fresh in my mind the one I like better is Alice.

Well, I agree with what James said, BUT... I would probably just about go for Alice on the basis I had visited the Dream Factory on March 10th and heard nothing about it, so I was fully prepared for 1p to be revealed, so it really was a complete shock!

Strangely, first time around Alice was better looking but when they both returned, Alice's hair was long and Laura was better looking lol I'm so shallow lmao. In all seriousness, I think Laura's game was more wow mainly because it was the first time so yeah the original for me.

Totally agree that Alice looked WAY nicer with short hair!

Yes thats also true, was good to watch not knowing she was actually going to be the 2nd QM.

However, looking back on this comment, I could be in both minds actually... bearing in mind Laura's was leaked, it was far less 'engineered' than Alices.. they gave her a no brainer of a decision and probably knew the £250,000 was in her box at the time of the BG offering. Probably why Corinne got £88,000 on an identical finish.

Alice was gorgeous though.. more my age as well

I knew about both of these well in advance, unfortunately. Laura's was far more exciting, and was at an amazing point in the show's history.

Two things really...

Laura did make history by becoming the first ever QM, but I confess to not watching that particular game. My love with DOND didn't really begin until November 2007.

Alice on the other hand was more nerve-wracking in gameplay terms. The Bankers Gamble offered and I've never been so much on the edge of my seat when watching any gameshow, be it WWTBAM or Bullseye.

Both did very well and showed bravado which apart from Dale's game at the end of January 2011, has been sorely lacking of late.

I'll just edge my vote to Alice.
