Something to think about on Deal's day off. I have been catching up with some tapes my friend from Holland have sent me over the years and most of them were episodes of Postcode Loterij Deal or No Deal (the daytime version, not to be confused with Miljoenenjacht). In at least two episodes they allowed the contestant to speak to a friend or family member by telephoning them and having them on loudspeaker so the studio audience and the home viewers can hear them. This would be done towards the end of the game at the DoND stage. The contestant would give the person on the phone what is left, what the offer will be and what advice they can give.

Do you think this could work on our version as a back up if they cannot get friends of family to come to Paintworks?

I've seen that happen in one episode myself. I remember thinking it took a bit too long.

Having played the game ( in the line up at the moment ) I wouldn't want the option.
F&F can distract and I would like to keep my own mind and not be distracted by others x
