I love use of the background music on DOND, which really adds to the drama.

It goes along almost imperceptibly as the contestant opens each box, then disappears completely when a big number is revealed.

When Noel asks the Deal or No Deal question it builds up dramatically, creating a really tense atmosphere.

Excellent stuff.

If you watch the 'first ever game of dond' on youtube, the sad / drama music is different to the one now. The old one in that video is like Japanese piano music but now, its like an xylophone.
