What is the lowest amount you would consider Dealing in this situation, and what is the lowest amount you would be certain of Dealing in this situation?

Other situations: 1-4 | 5-8 | 5-8

These situation responses form the basis of "Player Profiling" - an experimental method for assessing gameplay styles beyond one-dimensional measurements of risk-aversion.

Situation 13
£750
£1,000
£3,000
£5,000
£10,000

If you Deal you have a 1/3 chance of the Deal being tripled courtesy of a twist box

Situation 14
1p
50p
£1
£50
£100

£5,000
£10,000
£50,000

Regular rules, three to open

Situation 15
£750
£5,000
£10,000
£35,000
£100,000

Regular rules, three to open

Situation 16

Standard two-box showdown, no twists

13. I'm not really sure how to answer this. It depends on whether you're looking for reactions to live decisions, or ones which are thought through.

For example, I would consider dealing £1,000, due to having to think it through, and would be sure to deal £2,500, though I now realise that is an AMO.

I'll assume you mean the latter, and say that I would begin to consider offers of £2,000, which gives an average of £3,333. I wouldn't be certain of dealing £2,250, as a £2,250/£2,250/£6,750 board isn't necessarily better than the existing board.

I would deal £2,400, which is a small AMO, but that's because I consider the existing board to be sufficiently safe that dealing for less isn't necessarily worth it.

14. £4,000; £6,000.
15. £15,000; £24,000.
16. £4,500; £6,500.

13. Honestly, I don't think I would deal. I think I would probably play it to the end. I'd definitely go to 2 box at least.

14. Consider = £10,000. Definitely = £20,000

15. Consider = £22,000. Definitely = £35,000

16. Consider = £5,000. Definitely = £7,500

To the guys who just totally dismissed 13: surely you'd take something even if it took, say, almost as much as the £10,000 maximum you can win from the box?

I'll post my answers to all these situations eventually, but I don't want to influence anyone :)

13: Now it gets interesting. I work out that the gimmick adds 66% to the offer, but it also adds variance. Therefore i'm going with 2.2k/2.2k for this one. This gives an approx mean offer which given the board stability and variance of the offer is what i would be needing to deal at this point.
14: 4k/4k . A simple one, give me half the mean and i'll walk. Don't and i'll continue.
15: 15k/20k
16: 6k/7k . I need more as a mean % here given the low amounts on offer.

13. I won't dismiss it, but I only would deal and try for the triple, if the triple would result in more than £10k so,
£3,333.01/£3,333.01 :)

14 £5,000/£7,000

15. £21,000/£26,000

16. £5,000/£6,750

13. Probably undecided anywhere between £2,500 and £3,000, but very little room for manoeuvre with £750 guaranteed.

14. Consider £4,000, definite deal at £6,000.

15. Consider £18,000, definite deal £22,000.

16. Consider £4,000, definite deal £5,000.

13. To be honest, with that configuration I'd probably decline any offer (apart from an outrageously generous one).
14. £7,500; £11,000.
15. £15,000; £20,000.
16. £3,000; £5,000.
