This is a new thread giving you the chance to see how many banker's offers you predicted correctly in each show.

At the end of each round predict the offer just before Noel tells the contestant,
and see how many you got correct at the end of the show.

You can be within £300 of the banker's offer to have a prediction that is sufficiently accurate
unless the highest number remaining in the game is £1,000 or less
in which case you must be 100% accurate.

Proveout offers are included as well.

I did think that the banker would triple the previous offer to £105,000 but then thought that it couldn't be that high...

Hah!

I'm going to quote my projected offers for each game... and predict that 90% of the correct guesses on this thread will be for offers of exactly £20,000.

My predicted offers for today:

£1,000 (Quite a bit of banter with Eddie on the wings, this sometimes produces joke openers)

£6,000
£12,000
£18,000
£18,000 (Initally thought £20k, then thought "He won't go up to that")
£160

So two correct, three a couple of grand out.

Eddie's game 13/1/09 My predicted offers today:

1st offer £5,000 banker's offer £1,000

2nd offer £10,000 banker's offer £10,000

3rd offer (missed this one!) banker's offer £13,000

4th offer £20,000 banker's offer £16,000

5th offer £14,000 banker's offer £16,000

6th offer £160 banker's offer £160

2 right for me today! I thought the banker could have got Eddie a little cheaper for the 5 box 5th offer as it took him a long time to deliberate over the first £16,000

Offer 1: didn't even try to predict this one.
Offer 2: £10,000. DING!
Offer 3: £10,000. Nope, £13,000.
Offer 4: £16,500. Not quite, £16,000.
Offer 5: £16,500. Again, £16,000.
Offer 6: £160. Yup, I'd have guessed £165 if he'd done the £16,500.

Well, I'm way off what the Banker offers...

But I'll give it a shot tomorrow

I seem to predict more than what is actually offered all the time, which is the exact opposite of early 07! :)

Winston 19/01/2009 :

2 correct predictions today 1st offer £10,000
4th offer at 8 box : £18,000

I thought the banker would stick at 5 box but he went down to £16,500
still enough to get Winston to deal.

Not a prediction but before the 8-box offer came in today I was thinking about how much I'd want and thought that £8,000 would be a difficult decision.

Debbie 23/1/09

I thought the banker was going to offer "old faithful" £26,000 at 5 box but instead he offered £24,000
directly followed by £28,000

I wonder if Debbie would have no dealt £26,000

The proveout offer of £14,000 at 2 box was more predictable.

I was expecting an offer of £6,969 after her introduction (the banker has done that sort of thing before).

Michael 29/1/09

I predicted the banker sticking at £8,800 at 5 box

Did anyone correctly predict the banker's gamble today?

I did guess it was coming, but that was more because there seemed to be quite a bit of time left when Noel was on the phone to the banker at 2-box, suggesting that a hard decision for Michael was coming up.
