Hi Newbie here for posting (but often monitoring game on line and reading follow up)

I got to wondering about this at the end of the last series, and now have been even more challenged to want to know the answer..

At the end of the series, what happens to all the other contestants that have not yet had a turn? I am sure i didn't see them roll from last series to present series?

Do these people get a go and it is just not televised? If so who fills in for all the boxes (surely not new contestants - it would never end!)

Or do all the contestants go to the next series?

Sorry for such a basic question, but a year of waiting on the show then getting on but not being called forward must be "hell" ! Has anyone ever not got a game?

When I first watched the very first show, I didn't know what happened to the other contestants and didn't know if they came back each day to open boxes or what. Anyway over the summer break they keep the contestants and they all return on the first show of the new season after the summer break. Everyone gets a chance to play!

I think there have been 3 contestants who never got to play their game - Clive, Audrey and CJ. Clive and Audrey were on in the early days of the show and I believe they fell ill and decided not to return. CJ disappeared without trace and it was later revealed on here by a fellow contestant of hers that she had been kicked off the show for bad behaviour and wasn't invited back.

There have also been a few others who have left for a period of time due to various reasons; including illness, work commitments... or contractual issues... but they later returned and were allowed to play their games.

The CJ thing I still find a bit weird to this day. On the first show with £75,000 Maria she was really into the show, she appeared nothing outrageous but just taking part in the show because she ran from the East Wing along with some others when Maria won £100,000. But she just slowly went a bit weird. In Stuart's game a few after Maria's, it sounded like an artificial voice was being used and it didn't show her mouth and she pulled out £250,000 while grinning. There was another incident in James' game in which she pulled out £250,000 again! But James went something like "I'll pick the gorgeous CJ next please" and she huffed and groaned, and then grinned when she destroyed his game! She did around 8 shows.

Clive stood in W5 and replaced Rob in the early days when the box interiors were black and white. He did 6 shows I think. He didn't look tired like Audrey did. Maybe a relation died and he didn't feel like coming back or something.

Flash, a past contestant said she persuaded Audrey to have some drinks in the bar after the second show. After that evening she left and never returned... So she only did 2 shows. She was on when the boxes had recently become colour inside but not 3D. If memory serves me right she replaced Norma and was replaced by Maxine, and Audrey's 1st show was Afro Sam? Am I right? I wish my A-level revision sound sink in as well!

Add Yvonne to that now, we have no idea what's happened to her!

I wish I could see some CJ footage BTW - I really took extra notice of her in the recent repeat of Maria's game and like Cookie Monster I didn't see anything untoward with her in that game! I've checked when she opened her boxes in all the other games she was there for and they were all before the 2nd break so they won't be on I love DOND! This artificial voice being used intrigues me, since it sounded like her normal voice in Maria's game!

(Maybe Yvonne was artifically dubbed too as nobody's voice can be THAT annoying!!)
