Probably no funny or exciting parts. People not saying nice comments and probably having a low value game with poor offers.

Where someone is constantly crying - e.g. Colleen from July 1 who won £30,000.

Low deal (4 figures)
High blue in the box.
No banter whatsoever.

Would have to start off by taking all the big ones out fairly early on without having any spectacularly bad rounds or record-breaking runs to make the game memorable. Offers never getting into five figures, and a final five of something like £250, £500, £750, £1,000 and £3,000, with £500/£750 as the last pair of boxes!

Each round following a predictable pattern of either 2 blues/red or 2 reds/blue and a very average
finish at 8 box with a deal for around £9,000 with no comedy.
No all blue rounds, no all red rounds, little expression from the contestant, no chemistry with Noel,
no tension, no drama, although I don't think we've seen that kind of show,
at least not for a while! ;)

Andy's from May last year (even though I liked him as a contestant) - he just topped and tailed the board and his last 5 was very similar to the one Power 5 mentioned, £250, £750 and the three lowest reds! And his highest offer was only about £6k IIRC.

I find games where the offers are clearly too low to be dealt are some of the most dull. If it's a simple case of nodealx6 because of really low offers then it's pretty much a waste of time - we may as well have just opened the box. I prefer it when the offers are pitched well enough to give the player a headache, giving future rounds/proveouts more of an impact.

Can't argue with that. If the player is uncertain about a decision, then a post-Deal strong round actually hurts without Noel having to manufacture a guilt trip, and a post-No Deal collapse actually hurts as well.

The game is best when it speaks for itself - which will happen with marginal decisions. Alice's was a perfect example - never mind the deux ex machina at the end, the revised eight-box offer caused a big dilemma for Alice, and it really hurt her when the proveout went the wrong way. Of course had we had the usual two-box procedure (inflated offer, guilt trip, £250k in the box, bigger guilt trip) I dread to think how she'd have taken it... the forum would probably have her down with Donna and Richard. :|

If the player is mundane, the game can be saved with a good board/deal/luck. The reverse it also true!

The worst is when both the board/deal is average, and the player is boring. A perfect example of this would be Kelly from April 2008...I lost the will to live just watching that game
