Here's a guide to when DOND is on over the festive period. With the Scrooge vs Santa shows starting from Mon 15th - Tue 23rd, and the three Christmas Star shows which air Wed 24th, Thu 25th & Fri 26th.

There's not too much change to DOND's usual schedule times over Christmas, it's mainly the 1 hour long Christmas Star shows that vary a bit. The list below gives the times for when the show is scheduled over Christmas.

Mon 15th - Fri 19th: Usual timeslot (Scrooge vs Santa editions)
Sun 21st: 4:20 - 5:10pm (Scrooge vs Santa edition)
Mon 22nd: 4:15 - 5:00pm (Scrooge vs Santa edition)
Tue 23rd: 4:15 - 5:00pm (Scrooge vs Santa edition)
Wed 24th (Christmas Eve): 5:45 - 6:45pm (Christmas Star: 1 of 3)
Thu 25th (Christmas Day): 3:00 - 4:00pm (Christmas Star: 2 of 3)
Fri 26th (Boxing Day): 4:50 - 5:50pm (Christmas Star: 3 of 3)
Sun 28th: 5:00 - 5:50pm
Mon 29th: 4:15 - 5:00pm
Tue 30th: 4:15 - 5:00pm
Wed 31st (New Year's Eve): 4:15 - 5:00pm
Thu 1st (New Year's Day): 4:35 - 5:20pm
Fri 2nd: 4:15pm - 5:05pm

They've restricted the Christmas star shows to just three this year rather than five. At least there's no clash with Dr. Who this time! :-)

A reminder that tomorrow's show (Wed 24th) is on at 5:45pm - 6:45pm and is the first Christmas Star show.

And here is three days when my interest in DOND goes down a bit. I just couldn't get into the Christmas Star games last year, so i'll be giving them a miss.

I'm going to be watching the Christmas Stars, because it's so different to the usual show [Or hopefully will be!]

I'm biased about them as it is, seeing as the first show I ever went to see was one of last year's Christmas Stars.

I'm definitely watching.

Looking at the EPG, there are some worthy people playing this Christmas.

Thursday's Christmas Star show is on at the early time of 3:00pm.

A bit of a clash there with the Queen. :|

For the next week (5th - 9th Jan) DOND is scheduled to start at 4:10pm and finish at 4:55pm. Apart from Monday which apparently is 50 minutes long, but most of the time that usually just means more ads.

I wasn't sure where else to put this, so it'll have to do.

I was just checking next week's TV guide and next Thursday's show is 50 minutes long(4.15-5.05pm) - just thought I'd point it out!

It might be something to do with Cheltenham race meeting though (is Thursday not the gold cup day or has that been moved to Friday ?) so they have put in an extra 5 minutes to allow for possible overun of that

Yep, as there is no guarantee Deal would start on time, which is why they've taken a risk and put in an extra five minutes. If the racing is finished on time then C4 will show extended adverts and trailers.

O'Grady is live, so they have to have some contingency there, but I guess they can play with adbreak lengths in DoND to an extent.
