Following on from KP's "what would you do variations based on Doreen's game" thread but featuring £500,000 instead of 250K
here is a hypothetical board with £1,000,000 now the top prize:

What would you do?

At 8 box

10p
50p
£1
£5
£100
£250
£500
£1,000,000

1) The 8 box offer is £73,000 with no guarantee at 5 box

2) The 8 box offer is £52,000 but a guaranteed £140,000 at 5 box if the £1,000,000 is still in play if you no deal

3) The 8 box offer is £67,000 If you no deal there will be no offer at 5 box but a guarantee of a 3 box offer of £300,000 if the £1,000,000 is still in play

4) The 8 box offer is £70,000 but with a guarantee of an offer after the next box if you no deal

probably deal 1, and 4. Possibly gamble 2.

As for 3 probably gamble as well - do you mean after 8 box?

Definite deal at 1 and 3. Tempted to go on at 2 but probably deal, and probably no deal at 4 if the banker guarantees that the 7-box offer will be a sensible increase. I don't think I could turn down that much on a one box game with 3 to open, even if there is £1M in play!

All four would be a Deal, though 2 would be tricky.

Yes all these decisions are based upon 8 box offers as stated.

I'm such a wuss when the offers get into life-changing territory and there are one or more blues still on the board, I think I'd deal them all I'm afraid!!

The only one I'd feel comfortable taking a chance on is 4.

1) The 8 box offer is £73,000 with no guarantee at 5 box

Tempted to continue, but would most probably choose to deal.

2) The 8 box offer is £52,000 but a guaranteed £140,000 at 5 box if the £1,000,000 is still in play if you no deal

I think I would no deal here.

3) The 8 box offer is £67,000 If you no deal there will be no offer at 5 box but a guarantee of a 3 box offer of £300,000 if the £1,000,000 is still in play

If there's no offer at 5-box then i'd deal. Don't think I could cope with opening 5-boxes with just one red left.

4) The 8 box offer is £70,000 but with a guarantee of an offer after the next box if you no deal

I'd no deal here and take the chance.

I would think well it's only a once in a life time situation so I would no deal all the way.

I'd deal 1 and 2, no deal 3 and 4.
