I saw it, the first thing that came to my mind was why does he need to try and win a couple of thousand or so (I don't think I've ever seen more than £3k won on TWL) when he already won £54k from Deal? But I thought the other guy he was in the final with was the stronger link generally from what I saw.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Ronnie was on yesterday (the one who dealt after the banker lowered the offer), it looked like him although he was "Ron" rather than "Ronnie", though he got voted off in the middle stages.

There seem to have been quite a few past DOND contestants going on the Weakest Link, including Bunney and £5 Irene (who won IIRC).

I think some people are just serial gameshow appliers however much they've won before.
