I cant see it happening at the moment unless they put DOND on a lot later as they said they were concentrating a lot more on their prime time shows (the reason they lost Formula 1 to the BBC).

I haven't read it in full yet... but at first glance I don't think DOND would necessarily move to ITV even if Endemol did buy ITV out. A TV production company owning a whole channel would be quite something, although Endemol probably has the power / money to carry it out successfully!

Change to BBC1 instead! Then there would be no more ad-breaks. :laughing :-D

I don't want it to move. ITV is an absolutely terrible channel. Seeing the phone scams I'd thnk they want to take the prize money down and give it to GMTV.

Endemol set up a new channel in the Netherlands, Talpa, and put all their key shows (including DoND) on it. It lasted two years, and the shows went back to other channels afterwards.

However, ITV own 12-Yard, who sell shows to the BBC, so the same may apply here. Also, BB and DoND are contracted to 2010.

Looking at the way DOND is going, I'd think the main prize there would be a pair of golden clogs.

ITV is better than Channel 4... I want it to move. Endemol wouldn't change anything of it, and even if it did, in the current situation, it would be for the better so yeah, buy it, Endemol.

It's no different from ITV owning ITV Productions and 12 Yard or RTL owning Fremantle and Five yet we see shows from those companies on other channels, if Endemol did buy ITV it DOND would only be aired on that channel if it made financial sense.

Here's what's on Endemol ITV today.

6:00am - 10:00am - Big Brother Live - Watch the housemates as BB rudely awakens them from their slumber and watch in amazement at them eating a bowl of breakfast cereal.
10:00am - 11:00am - Big Brother catch-up - Missed last nights exciting action? Then don't worry we have an ever dodgier edit with all the swearing and bad stuff cut out for you to enjoy.
11:00am - 2:00am - Big Brother Live - More exciting live action from the house. Now with additional sound dips.
2:00am - 3:00am - Big Brother's Little Brother catch-up - An exciting repeat of yesterday's BBLB. Watch in amazement as two presenters try work out how to read an autocue.
3:00pm - 4:00pm - Big Brother catch-up - Missed last nights exciting action and today's 10am repeat!? Then don't worry we have another chance for you to watch it here.
4:00pm - 5:00pm - Deal or No Deal - New longer edition of the show. With extra tears and longer box openings. Watch as it takes someone 5 minutes to open a box as we cut to 50 different audience members. Remember we want the player to find a red as we need to make our money back after buying ITV.
5:00pm - 6:00pm - Goldenballs - Split or steal who knows. With new cash amounts ranging from 1p - £1 will the players be greedy enough to steal the potential jackpot of £5.
6:00pm - 7:00pm - Big Brother's Little Brother - All new edition of the show where even the presenters can't be bothered to turn up.
7:00pm - 8:00pm - Big Brother Diary Room Uncut - Watch the uncut action from the Diary Room which is actually cut, but no-one will ever know.
8:00pm - 9:00pm - Big Brother Speaks - An all new show where you can call up a premium rate number at £5 a minute and speak to an automated Big Brother.
9:00pm - 11:00pm - Big Brother - Eviction night at the BB house. Watch someone cry when they're evicted from the house and realise they don't have a big fan base as they thought. Also includes Davina Mccall shouting.
11:00pm - 12:00am - Big Brother's Big Mouth - Have something to say about BB then say it here? Then get in touch.
12:00am - 6:00am - Big Brother Live - Watch live nocturnal action of the housemates sleeping. Quite why you want to watch people sleep when you should be sleeping is any one's guess.

I did actually use to be a big :) Big Brother fan years ago and I did use to watch all the various shows, but the last couple of years I have gone off it and this year I haven't watched anything apart from the launch night.
