Wouldnt it be great if as soon as theres 22 members of the penny club to bring them all back for a special show as it would give one lucky person in that club another chance to try and win big money and hopefully avoid being in the penny club for a second time...

So what does everyone think of this idea?

Quarter of a million Yeeeaaaah!

Dreadful, dreadful idea- this has been flagged up many times before and I still stand by the fact that it is a terrible idea. Every gets one chance. If they muck it up and win a penny then that's tough.

Also, it's very unfair on all those people who won 2p, 10p, 15p, 50p etc. etc.

The day they do this is the day DoND should be axed (although I'm not sure if that day has already come...)

Yes at the end of the day everyone gets a cheque for something even if it's just 1p , they should be prepared for that. Most of them took it well anyway although disappointed and had a good experience.

It might be a good "twist" but in terms of gameplay it'd be awful as you should therefore bring back all the other players who have won low amounts... the difference between 1p and 50p isn't great yet the 50p winners are virtually never mentioned.

Perhaps they could just bring them back for one special show, such as the Banker's Birthday (no doubt they'll be 22 by next May), just to open the boxes, but not actually play. But quite how that would work either i'm not sure as that would mean the current 22 would have to be relegated for a day.

Maybe the founder, Nick Bain, could play for every member and what ever he wins could be split among the other 21 members, but if he won the 1p again it'd be pretty hard to split it 22 ways

It's also why i'd much rather win the 1p than say the 10p, 50p, £1 etc...as at least it's more "special" and you seem to get more recognition.

as all above i like the idea of the founder of the 1p club having a battle with the banker on behalf of the other members or even for charity and the banker could even double the amount

I wonder what will happen when we get 22 £250,000 winners?

I think it's a terrible idea, but some of the penny club members were great characters, so it'd be nice if they were brought back in some capacity. I'm thinking as box openers in special shows like Christmas Star, or the 1,000th episode, assuming there's 21 members by then (you only need to open 21 boxes).
