In order that peoples enjoyment of the show is not spoiled I will post in invisible(ish) text.

If you want to read what may or may not be true info on a future episode then highlight the space below.

Spoilers.

On a radio interview Noel said that there had been a couple of people who had gone away with 1p. Slip of the tongue? Given that there is a delay in recording and broadcast, if it is true we should see that in the next three weeks.

I wonder if it was a slip of the tongue or will we see another member of Niks club?

Spoilers end.

swasnut.

You will have noticed I have deleted your post in this thread, I did this because I have deleted the post made by Punk Boy and it would have looked out of place without that post here, and I assumed your post was aimed at him and not the original poster.

I have now banned Punk Boy from the forum as despite numerous warnings he continued to carry on in his disruptive style and try to antagonise fellow members.

I've found the radio interview that Bork is discussing above, Noel was on The Jonathon Ross Show on Radio 2 on Saturday. You can listen to the show online as the BBC have the whole show available.

I've not listened to the whole interview yet, so have not heard the possible spoiler that Noel mentions. Noels interview starts at about 40mins into the show.

It's obviously up to you if would like to listen to the show and hear the possible future show spoiler.

Probably a slip of the tongue. Noel has a very short memory. Yesterday he was going on about how this was the unluckiest game. Remember Alan from a few weeks ago?

Thanks for the link to the interview Kes, I enjoyed listening to it again.

I'm hiding the next section of text again in order that people who haven't had the chance to listen to it, or don't want to will not have future enjoyment spoiled. Again, just highlight the white text to read it.

Possible spoilers:

After listening to the interview again, and hearing that Noel makes no attempt to correct himself, and given the fact that on the shows that we have seen, Noel makes repeated reference to the fact that Nik has been the only 1p winner, the fact that he says that there have been a couple of 1p winners does make it seem like we will shortly see another unlucky player.

Spoilers end.

After the first three rounds, my gf and I were convinced that this would be the game. We've been waiting for it for three weeks, and as soon as the 1p and the £250,000 still remained we were willing every box opened to be the penny. Unfortuately, it wasn't to be.

Can any old contestant post the exact space of time between the recording of the show and the transmission date?

It varies as we recorded three a day for two weeks (Mon-Fri) and then had one week off.

Hence my first show - Wed 8 Mar - was recorded on Fri 3 Feb (2nd of 3)

If they keep going at this pace (i.e. no breaks for Easter etc.) the gap will get bigger and bigger.
