John and Paul, with 12 each, but I think John may have had slightly more nicknames. (There's been two Jon's as well.)

One of the John's was a Christmas Star contestant.

There have been 9 Steves.

Nev and PJ were both Pauls.

As for the Johns, there's JT who was really a John (and JC as well?). There's also been a Johnnie and a Jonny.

David / Dave is quite a popular name too - there have been 7 Davids and 7 Daves. I think Buddy and Simmo were Davids as well.

As for the females, there have been 7 Helens, making it the most popular female name as far as I know.
