I found this letter at the Daily Record complaining about how "scruffy" Noel looks.

SURELY with the amount of money Noel Edmonds is paid to do Deal Or No Deal, he could at least wear a pair of decent trousers.
On Tuesday, he appeared in what can only be described as scruffy jeans, which looked as if they should have been binned long ago.
A haircut would not go amiss either. If he is trying to appear young and with-it, he is not succeeding. He looks well past it and should act accordingly.

Also if anyone is interested in what Noel has to say about the current power crisis and the government (I can see you all rushing to click this link) then check out his views here. With the most clever of headlines Fuel.. Or No Fuel? - http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/topstories ... -20600959/

Noel Edmonds wrote:
Ransom I am not a campaigner, I am an informer. I am very frightened for myself, and for my family. I am very concerned for the marginalised, the low-paid, the vulnerable in society who are not going to be able to afford to light and heat their homes.

I like it how Noel mentions himself and then says how he's worried about the low-paid in the same sentence.

Haha, that's an interesting read. Noel does have a valid point with what he's saying, but I think he's going for the "scare-mongering" attitude a bit too much...

Anyway I liked how he got in a reference to DOND...

Although it likes to think of itself as the voice of Scotland, the Daily Record is considered a bit of a joke newspaper in Scotland and nobody pays much attention to it's views.

Obviously there wasn't enough Rangers or Celtic stories on that day, so they had to find something else to fill a few column inches and found DOND while flicking through the kids cartoons! :)

Noel's quote was harsh, but true...

I suspect the writer of the letter criticising Noel's dress and hairstyle is male and just a little older than him. Probably jealous of all the ladies flirting with him too.

Noel has a unique wardrobe for Dond and it is all part of the show from his curly shoes, odd socks and now the nail varnish. Not to mention the shirts.

If he did something different with his hair he wouldn't be the Noel we all know and love.

And I am so pleased he has raised the subject of energy. He has said what a lot of us have been thinking for some time but don't have the platform to say it.

I remember when we had the three day weeks and powercuts most nights, my boys were just babies and it was awful.

There is far too much waste of energy with lights being left on etc, as Noel says.

I think the Government thought they would only be in power for a short time and that the problem of the power stations would pass to someone else.

Wind turbines, don't get me started on those!!!! We have lots around here and it makes me so cross when they are spoiling the landscape, and are often either turned off for the wind being too high or stood still due to lack of wind.

There is so much money swilling around for companys involved in them it is obscene.

As a pensioner I am worried what will happen in future years. What will happen in say twenty years time, I hope to still be here, if food, fuel and energy prices keep going up and the pension doesn't?

Still by then my TV licence will be free and I will have to cuddle up under the duvet and watch Noel on Dond :D
