Has any contestant sold the memorabilia they got off the show?

Which reminds me of the tall gay bloke who swapped his 100k box for a lower amount then proceeded to steal all the furniture! How much did he get on ebay? I hope it was loads!

Anyone managed to take their box away with them?

Does anyone else laugh when arrogant sods come away with bugger all?
(Like that bloke ages ago, who's mate said "you're a winner, you can do it". then dealt on something like 230 squids with about 100 and 500 in play)

Should I shut up now?

Sally took the inside of her box away with her because she won 1p and she asked. Laura got to keep her £250,000.

Adam Field did try to sell his 1p cheque and other stuff but he was asking for too much in my opinion.

Usually they cannot take any boxes home with them, they have to stay at the studio. I'm sure Laura Pearce was an exception as she won £250,000 same with Sally Kettle with 1p, while Fireman Matt got to keep his £35,000 box amount.

I'm sure the other people on this site will answer the other queries for you.

Sharron got hers as well AFAIK.

Glen from aaaaaaaaaaaages ago tried to sell some stuff on eBay, I think he asked for something stupid for it though and nobody bought it. Oh and Sue who won £5 + a mug tried to sell said mug, not sure what she got for it though, if anything.

I think Igor tried to sell his 2p cheque on Ebay too, but wasn't he asking for something like £1,000? :?

The contestant who swapped the £100,000 for £1 was Orry, and I don't think he actually "stole" anything from the studio, he was doing it as a joke!

Another contestant - "Bathtime buddy" Neil (so called due to some banter with the banker) was given a gift of a bottle of "Banker's special bubble bath", and I believe he tried to sell it on eBay. I think he was also asking for too much and didn't get any bids.

Is Glen the one who tried to sell his "notes" that he made whilst there?

I think one or two others have tried to sell their namebadges and box seals etc., although their names escape me...

I've just found this about Neil and his bubble bath - http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.p ... light=ebay

And here is the thread about Igor, who was trying to sell his 2p cheque for £5,000! http://www.dond.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.p ... =igor+ebay

All the contestants selling stuff seem to consistently over-estimate its worth with some quite ludicrous reserves on Ebay. Surely its value lies in the memories it carries for you as a contestant and your time on the show.

No wonder nothing ever sells.

Heather should also do that, but it could be at least $207,000(her highest offer), or even $1,000,000(her dream).

When you go in the studio you are ,nt allowed to take anything in with you, after you have congratulated the contestant in the chair the mugs have already been removed so you have no chance. As soon as you leave the studio there are a row of security guards outside so it impossible to bring a box out with you so i would,nt get any ideas.I have a name badge that had been left on one of my tops and a tag off a box which i think everyone has. spank spank spank spank spank
