Two that really stand out are Original £100k Gaz and Graeme's episodes, because of their virtual 1-box game situations by about halfway.

As for 2-box (two Power Five boxes) games, Lance, £50k Lynn and maybe Doug, when they only had those two left (and peanuts) at 5-box, no dealt and managed to keep both.

Honorable mentions include original Rob, original Helen and Ottis, who all took out the Power Five by the end of Round 2, but all three still managed to get decent sums, with one OPW in that group (Ottis).

There are others, but those really stand out.

Hmm but they all had a reasonably decent board throughout and just a couple of knocks, I think we're talking games where it really looked like it was all over.

Depends on the magnitude too, Valerie, 10K hannah, 15K rhona etc could be 'comebacks'

The biggest were certainly the two £100k box wins, and the recoveries from appalling starts are worth a mention (Ottis is correctly mentioned, but also I'm thinking of Buzz and Audrey's recoveries - and in the case of the latter, it was the first appearance of the 1p on the table, and she sold it for an OPW!).

Chris B had a bit of a trainwreck start didn't he? Not that it was quite as good as Gaz!

How were they comebacks?? They had stable boards all the way through, with only a minor knock here or there.

To me, one of the best comeback games come from the £5,000 box win OPWs of Emma and Asma.

Gaz and Maria (and, after her start, Lynne) had fantastic comeback games.

Also, Jiveclive- I don't think you quite get the point of this thread...

Another one which really made me happy was 15k James (the one who swapped for it, not the one who dealt 15k and sold the 1p) - it was the highest amount remaining at the second break, and the next highest value was 3k!! (I'd put it slightly above Valerie in that regard).

Bunney and Daniel weren't comebacks! Daniel's was even a come-down because he was offered 90k before.

Grr... I have to say it annoyed me today when the banker and Noel spoke about how Rachel's game was like Hannah's who won £20,000, when she won £10,000! I wonder if Noel will say on Monday that Rachel had an identical game to Hannah's and they both won £20,000?

It seemed like a bit of a random game to start talking about anyway, seeing as it happened about 18 months ago and there've been plenty of other similar games since then... :?
