Hi all you lucky peeps who have already been chosen to play this awesome game.

I've recently had an audition and apparently could be chosen any time up until next January if I ajm successful!

I was wondering how long those of you who have already played had to wait before hearing from your audition and also how much notice did you get?

I had my audition in February and haven't had my call yet - people keep telling me not to give up hope but I have other things that i need to focus on right now so its probably good ! Although, when I finish my degree in 4 Weeks (:shock: ) I'll be wishing I was on then cos of my overdraft !! I also want to build myself a little ceramics studio because I have no access to a kiln after next month

I found out that we may hear any time up to the end of June so this next January thing is news to me -- where did you hear that ? I've heard from ex-contestants that their process took varied times. One player said it was a couple of weeks between audition and call - another said it was almost 6 months and they had forgotten all about it by the time they called. To be honest, there is no certified timescale as far as anyone can figure out - its just the luck of the draw. We don't know what or who they are looking for. We don't know how many people have already had their calls ---- we know nothing. So beating yourself up about it and trying to figure it all out is futile (I've already been there )

What I will tell you for a fact - there is absolutely no point in bothering those that work at Endemol with unnecessary phonecalls because you are just wasting both yours and their time ! If you get on, you get a call - if you don't then you somply don't !! Excruciating I know - but at least there is still that germ of hope in the back of your mind !

I heard a rumour that if they are constantly pestered by someone they will just tell them they didn't get on to get rid of them I'd do that too to be honest !! ha ha ha.

Good luck to everyone that auditionned:crossfingers: and I truly hope that someone from this site gets their call soon --- although, we are unlikely to hear till after they record their shows as posting on the web is a big no-no for those selected. Its not worth jepordising their spot just to brag is it ?

I have sent in over 30 apps, and never been offered an auditon. ARGH
