After Kate (and to a lesser extent Jill) came on and said "I'm a gambler" and the following debate of how much they actually were(n't)..

If Noel said to you "What is your attitude to risk, gambling etc?"

How would you reply? What is the best way to sum you up with gambling instincts? I'm a gambler? I play stats not the board? I'll always go on with £250k there?

For me:

"If it's a calculated risk worth taking, I'll take it, however I won't gamble for the sake of it"

I would say 'That I came here to be accepted and I have a positive attitude to my game at any crucial stage in the game I would just go for it or if the odds are one in a million I'd deal.

I'd tell him to shut up and F**k off, and I'm not interested in any kind of relationship.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

I wouldn't say anything. :P

But if I had to, it would be something like 'I play the board not the offers'

"At every stage, on every board, there is an offer I'll take and an offer I won't. It's up to the Banker to make an offer I'll take."

"I not going to take any pathetic offers he makes, because I've seen too many taken in the past and being gotten away with."

I wouldn't say anything. It's a game, and I wouldn't want to give my opponant any kind of advantage.

I have come here for a high return, and if I can only achieve that through high risk, then so be it.

I think I'd say "no comment". Partly because I wouldn't want to reveal that I'm not really a gambler, but also because I'd probably get nervous and say the wrong thing, giving the banker an instant advantage.

Not sure really. I'm not a gambler but I don't consider DOND to be a gamble (even though you are technically gambling the offers, but then it's not your money) and so I would play the game depending on how I felt/the offers/the board etc.

So i'd most proabably say something like "I'm not the biggest of gamblers in real life but DOND is a once in a lifetime opportunity and i'm willing to take a risk here"

Maybe I won't say that actaully :?

With a what should the person in the chair

I'd say...

"STOP! THINK! You're the only one that can answer the question. The decision needs to be yours."

And of I was asked what I'd do; I'd be honest and say what I would actually do.

The question is what would you do; Not Give me the opposite to what you'd do.

If I was on the wings I would say 'Don't be swayed by the size of the offer. There are still *x* amount of sums higher and they could still be in your box. Go for it'.

I would personally just be myself if I was on the show and I would deal at whatever amount that suits me. I personally don't care if I lost to the banker because I would also say that winning a huge amount of cash isn't the meaning of life because it's not healthy to get too attatched to a certain sum. Also, it's the contestant's quality that counts, not how much they win.

i totally agree its what suits you I have seen so many games fall to pieces by not dealing and then taking out the only few high amounts left on the board and going away with nothing like a lot of my friends on the show. If the 250.000 was in i would without question go to the very end.
