What do you think makes the contestants cry at certain games. I know I would be a wreck on everyones, but recently I have noticed that some games are full of tears and others not. It does not seem to have anything to do with popularity.

In the last week or so Andy went away with a decent sum of money and Justin went with a good sum of money, but everyone cried throughout.

Then poor Joy and Margaret went with nothing and hardly any tears. Do you think it is if the person in the crazy chair gets upset as that is the only thing I can put it down to

I think editing has a lot to do with it - I suspect most players cry at most things during the show as they get very emotional, but I doubt all of this makes the final edit.

Some people are more emotional than others i remember when Orry took the hundred thousand from the table and ended up winning a low blue i sobbed all the way from the studio to the green room but i think that it was because he was very upset himself but when Katie ended up winning 1p i was very sad for her but because she was still laughing i did,nt feel so emotional.

Well for me personally I don't mind people who get emotional when they've had a trainwreck of a game and there's nothing they could of done and with Joy's game on Tuesday that is what I would class as a really emotional game. I felt really sorry for Joy.

However when people start crying after they have dealt and then they go on to discover they could have won a lot more money, I don't find as emotional. If someone has chose to deal at a certain point then they should be happy with the amount they got. If they wanted more they should have taken a risk.

yes i agree with mike - i wasn't impressed with kelsie crying when she won 29K - well was she happy with that large sum or not?

i don't mind if there's a few tears after a gamble gone wrong as long as there's no 'blubbing'.
