I had heard a rumour a while back that Joseph had died, but it was from the same source which said Doug had died, and it turned out he was alive and well still. I hoped the same applied to Joseph, but alas seemingly not. :(

Joseph was one of my favourite ever contestants - certainly one of my favourites from that era of DOND and it's a shame he's no longer with us.

RIP Joseph.

Really sorry to hear about Joseph, he was one of my favorites from when he was on, both on his original run in June, then also when he played in September. :(

Ack shame about that, I started properly watching when Joseph was first on the wings in June. I remember being totally confused as to why he just dissapeared!

RIP

Another contestant who I have concerns about that he may have passed away is another of my favourites, Ken.

I have his game and he said at the start of it that the doctors said he wouldn't see the previous Christmas, and I always think they gave him an early game becuase they were coming up to a 4-month recording break and they might have been worried he wouldn't come back after it.

It is over 18 months since his game was recorded, and he'll be well into his 80s, so fingers crossed he's ok. :crossfingers:

Well, has to happen sometime. Hope Ken's still alive and well, I too have his game and he was (hopefully still is) a legend. As for Joseph - 83's not exactly young but I'd have expected at least another few years yet...he seemed so spritely and active if you know what I mean.

R.I.P. Joseph and Elaine.

And could you get us an update on Ken by any chance Bill?

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.
