Would you deal before the 4th offer at the 8 box stage? Even if the offer was really good, would you be happy to deal before the second commercial break that precedes the third segment?

For many people, dealing too early creates an anticlimactic end to the show. Would you be more concerned about providing an entertaining show, or achieving a satisfactory financial target for yourself?

I'd deal the 3rd offer if it was good enough. I wouldn't be a targetist, I'd look at the offer and the chances of getting a better offer. I wouldn't deal at the 1st or 2nd offer though, there's still too much to play for at that point.

Well basing it on the fact that most of the time, 11-box isn't the best time to deal, I'm more likely to no deal, and am more likely to deal at 8/5/2 box.

However, if the offer was very generous for the board at 11-box (such as 1p Adam's £20,000) then I'd probably deal. Also, if it was a Power 5 sum of money that I couldn't feel I could turn down (like £40k or something), then I'd probably deal.

I wouldn't want to deal the first or second offers at all really, as I'd feel I haven't got the most out of my game. I'd only ever deal the first / second offers if the banker went mad and offered well above the mean on a very unstable board.

To the surprise of approximately no-one who reads this, I voted yes.

I'd take any offer that was worth taking. That includes Howard's £18k opener, and can you imagine Noel's reaction to that?

Although it's not as common as some might think for the first three offers to tempt me. This question, however, implies that the first three offers mean diddly-squat unless you vote Yes, so of course I voted Yes.

The main thing that would put me off is stupid proveout offers like in Mel's game! Otherwise I'd have no hesitation! (If the offer was right of course) :)

Yeah. If the offer was good enough, then i would. Although highly unlikely, it could happen.

I'd be reluctant, but if it was generous for the board, I'd seriously consider taking it (given I'd have dealt Howard's 1st offer, and Matt Borer's 1st and 2nd offers)

Unlikely, but if the offer was really generous then I may. However i've rarely seen an offer (the first three) that I think I would deal at.
