More and more forum members seem to be disappearing, or are saying they don't watch any more. The viewing figures seem to be as stable as they have always been - around 2.5 / 3 million for the weekday shows and 1.5 million for the Saturday shows. So do you still watch it? If yes, why? If no, why not? Of course, those who don't watch it now won't even come on the forum to see this thread...

I still watch it and record it if I'm out, as there's enough variety in terms of the people on the wings, and also gameplay, to keep me interested.

The show is in a bit of a rut in terms of the amount being paid out... It's seen a mixture of increased targetism and increased bad luck which meaning we haven't seen tense finishes and big wins since Autumn really.

The run of Power 5 boxes being on the table in January 2007 with high offers and fairly risky gambles at times got rather boring in the end - and it's the same now when we had no Power 5 boxes on the table in January 2008, with some low offers and low deals to accompany it.

Today is two years since Beryl dealt the third offer of £3,100 with £250k and not much else left on the board. Just be thankful she's not playing these days. ;) In contrast though, a year ago we had two exciting games in a row, both which had good offers and fairly risky (but justifiable) no deals, followed by deals - those shows being Darren and Susan, who won £42,000 each and both had nail-biting games.

Well it's no wonder forum members are dissappearing the show needs a bit of a kick to it I remember January 2007 cor what a blinder mega wins ledgend players, Phychics and Noel wasn't annoying back then as he is now. On Angies game I thought that it was going to make a difference to January then she just dealt with 3 reds and two blues that was cowardly. Then Geoff and Mel's game took the biscuit.

The show is called 'Deal or no deal' and it's based all around the world it's not called 'Deal and nothing else' And Taff said we've got people losing interest in the show even one of the crew said we've had no exciting games for ages. But I will still watch the show but if it's keeps on like this Channel 4 and Endemol will have to take this off and put a new show on the market :(

Yes, until May 2007 I only watched occasionally, then I became hooked after going to a recording and watching Maria win £100K and James win £15K, both from swaps at final box. Now I have set my Sky+ to record every show on C4HD, so I never miss one. I hardly ever watch shows at the time of broadcast, prefering to watch later and FF through the ads.

I very rarely watch the show now- the last full one I watched was a couple of Saturday's ago I think- ever since Mel's game I've stopped watching regularly but was losing interest since November or so anyway.

I'm still in the "I try not to miss a show" category, but I always worry about the forum reaction when someone says "deal" rather than the potential outcome of the game. :)

I watch it occasionally but I'm not bothered whether or not I miss it.

I stopped watching regularly for a different reason than jiveclive stated though.

Very rarely. I nearly voted 'I hate the show' actually. I think my reasons are the opposite of jiveclive's, and the same as those of Lewis246 and redrum666.

no because I have work and haven't followed it up well lately but I might take an interest again now. Hopefully the lack of 20K+ wins will be ending now.

*and sort of what redrum said* it is me being cynical or has the show gone downhill since October/november?

I voted once a week because saturday is the only time I *can* wa6tch it.

Unfortunately some Saturday shows haven't been too inspiring but Paul's was one of the better ones

I always try to make sure I see every show. One of the reasons people don't watch it now is because they think is to much the same and becoming boring.

I watch it when I can on S4C, but not every day because of lectures, but when I can watch it, I do.

Nah I havent watched for half a year now... (oh if your wondering I just do the stats as they're posted on the site)

I kid! I kid!

I voted for always (even though Footy seems to come first on a Saturday afternoon) it's in quite a good patch and a few big wins and were rocking and rolling again. We have quite a wealth of characters on the wings at the moment and some games I'm looking forward too!

I dont know what it says about the chatroom but when we've asked the same question in there the majority always seem to say they dont watch anymore...

Yeah, i still watch it. Try not to miss a show. I tape Saturday's ones and see them the next day due to lack of time on Saturday due to evening work.

But i still love it. Especially this week, in my view its been great. Lets just say if i didn't, i wouldn't know what to spend the time doing especially during the week. It's become such a routine watching it now.

Yes, I still watch it and do so most of the time but I'm not that devastated if I miss one. However, I did record yesterday's show which was the first Saturday show I'd seen for ages.

I try not to miss an episode, especially at the moment, because I like current line up. If I'm out, I don't bother to record it, I read the commentaries on here instead, and if the game sounds good, I try to catch the more4 repeat.

Maybe it's just me, but lately I've noticed some of the regular forum members disappearing from the main discussion pages and a few new faces chipping in with the occasional comment. I haven't "seen" Billy on here for a while (about a month, I think), and he used to post on a regular basis. Maybe he's just on holiday!

I should add I still watch the show and find many aspects of the show worth tuning in for. Seeing it live certainly helps to re-ignite interest in the show, though.

Oh I watch every one. I watch it on 40d, and have the todays thread running along side, I find it works well that way, if I want to skip a bit.
I must admit I didn't watch the Christmas star ones as I had got behind.
I sometimes give up an evening though and have a good marathon, can't be organised or bothered enough to see it every day on the day though.

Must admit though last week when Martin came up to the table, I hadn't noticed him at all on wings, so perhaps my concentration is waning a bit.

Billy is taking a rest from the show due to burnout and education commitments. He was getting slightly fustrated around December with the game performances at that time.

I've chosen to watch it when I can this is due to work commitments but watch the show fully when I'm at home.
