Hello all,

Firstly, let me introduce myself!

My name is Paul - I am 24 and a joiner based in Gloucester. I filled in a contestant application last week and had a call from Endemol today inviting me to an audition on the 27th of January at the Marriott in Bristol!

I am so pleased!

They also send a follow up email, firstly to confirm attendance and secondly to give details of the process.

There are 3 stages to the current auditions:

1 - An informal interview, just about you and hopes & dreams

2- Group exercise - creating fancy dress costumes for a theme given on the day

3- play a short version of Deal or No Deal on a full mock-up set in groups of 22.

Sounds great!

Hi Paul, the only bit of advice i can give you is to be enthusiastic in the games they play, be very helpful to your team.
But most of all be yourself and enjoy the experience and you won't go far wrong.

I also have an audition, but the email that I got said nothing about a game on a mock up set... just 5 mins in front of camera in an interview thingy...

Wonder why its different

Same here Sarah! I auditioned last Feb 07 in London and that also was just 5 mins in front of a camera with a young lady asking questions!
I have since heard that its a ticket system now?!?
Bronze ticket means you get a 1min taped interview, Silver ticket means a 5 mins taped interview which gets sent to the production crew (not sure if this information is kosha!)
Maybe different areas have different ideas, just to keep everyone on their toes!!!!!!!
Anyway Good luck to anyone who manages to get an audition, it is soooooo GREAT!

Sounds interesting!

I only had a 5 minute interview/screen test with production when I got on, but the games sound interesting, a bit like the Big Brother interviews.

I emailed for a form, saw it asked so many questions about dreams and nonsence, and now i read there is roleplay and fancy address, that's me out!

I still haven't heard anything yet - early days I suppose :roll:

I completed my form and emailed it back a couple of weeks ago and got a call last week with an audition date for Feb - yay! Does anyone know how many people have applied this time round and how many they are going to audition??

hey guys

I did the interview process in November 07 in London

after completing the application I was called and did a short interview over the phone. I was then invited from Glasgow to London to attend the interview which I did... paid for by myself...

One the interview day... we were given a bronze ticket for a 1 min interview...

The room had about 100 people in it... from this they picked about 20... which I was lucky enough to be one of...

I was then given a silver ticket for a 5 minute interview in a seperate room.... I did this and was told I might hear from them...

In late December I had a call from DOND wanting to ask some additional questions about my line of work and again they said they might get back to me....

since then I have heard nothing...

I've been invited onto 1vs100 but I knocked it back as I don't want to risk not getting on DOND as I know they don't like to have contestants from other shows...

So I'm holding out...

they get millions of people apply for the show and there are hundreds a day having auditions just in one location and that is happening all over the country in different hotels so if you do get on dond consider yourself a really lucky person.
