Fairly simple, pick your favourite year of Deal or No Deal! It was originally just going to be a straight choice between 2006 and 2007, but if you preferred 2005 to either of them then that's there too.

No, you can't vote for 2008, we've only seen one show's worth!

I've chosen 2006 as that was the year when I really got into the show and I think it was at it's best with some great characters, good entertainment and better editing.

I'm not sure really - it's either between 2006 or 2007. I started to really get into DOND in about February 2006, and the golden age was from about February to June 2006.

Looking at my ideal set of 22 contestants 8 of them played in 2006 and 14 in 2007. However, all of my top 3 are from 2006 and 6 of the top ten are from 2006. This is a bit of a scientific way of doing it... but on a less scientific note, 2007 contained many great things and contestants but also had quite a few irritating things such as Noel's Wakeyism in March in particular, and most of the gimmicks which have been used. Not to mention the Christmas Star shows which I didn't like. That's another thing, Christmas 2006 was better than Christmas 2007.

Ok, 2006 wins it for me!

2006. Had all of the good points of 2007 but hardly any of the bad.

On balance, it's got to be 2006

2007 had hardcore Noel Wakeyism almost throughout. 2006 had Sequencegate. It HAS to be 2005!

Nah, 2005 had stupidly inflated proveout offers like Mally's 145k (and indeed some in play ones)!!

Good point, but they weren't treated as opportunities for malice so you could pretty much just laugh at them!!

Really, the peak was summer 2006 - but early 2006 had Sequencegate and late 2006 was too much like 2007!!

I quite liked sequencegate. I made a good few quid out of that as a psychic by being able to predict what was in the boxes before they were opened! :-D

January-June 2006 was the high point of the series for me.

I voted 2005 because it had some real characters (Trevor 1, Len, Mally) and some of my fave females of all time (Natalie, Jo 1)!

Also, there was a lot less chat and sentimentality and little or no "focus" or "stay positive".

2006 had some high points: September/October (Trev/Break a Leg Jeff era) and December (Danny/Joey/Wrighty era). I barely remember the rest of the year apart from Marcus' and Sam's games in March.

2007 had the fabulous month that was January (Bunney/Psychic Sarah/VENTRESS/£250k win era) and no other month was a patch on it, although March/April (Kerry/Phil aka Howard Brown from the Halifax ads/Barry aka Noddy Holder era), June/July/August (Mike aka Severed/Vicky/Alan era) and October (Little Rich era) were quite good.

I voted 2007 but it would either have been 2006 or 07 as they both good in my view...

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.
