£250,000 board is very boring. Shall we start playing £500,000 board on next series to create our 1st £500,000 winner?
£500,000 board:
1p £1,000
10p £3,000
50p £5,000
£1 £10,000
£5 £20,000
£10 £35,000
£50 £50,000
£100 £75,000
£250 £100,000
£500 £250,000
£750 £500,000

Things we haven't happened yet:
£250,000 taken out before £500,000
Swapping away £250,000
£500,000 is one of the final 2 amounts

If in 600 odd shows we only have 1 £250,000 (and it was engineered) I highly doubt we will ever get a £500,000 winner. People are, and will be more in for the offers which will be massive on a board like that even though compared to the board they might be crap

£500,000 hasn't even made it to eleven-box yet!!!

Really hope that at one point we get a £500k game where it lasts deep into the game, preferably with backup, so we can see just where the offers end up!!

The banker would probably just offer £26k and it'd get taken. And judging by previous £26k deals, the £500k would be in the player's box

Can't see it happening because of how much money the show producers 'lose' already.

Imagine if the £500,000 lasted til 8-box with at least another two of the Power Five? The resulting offers would naturally be huge!

It's be silly to deal 26K on a 500K game unless it was extremely precarious at a certain point.

Agreeing wth other comments, I'd like to see it remain to 8 box ( if not 5 box) in a special game to influence chunky/mega offers.

Well I think it would make little difference to the game overall. You might expect the offers to increase or even double. But why should they? People are dealing the offers as they already are so there is absolutely no reason for the Banker to offer any more no matter what the top prize is.

At 2 box £50K will get 99% out of the chair if there is a blue v £250k, £500k or a million. At in the earlier stages of the game they just see the bare offer without any context or analysis of the board so any £20k+ offer is likely to be grabbed irrespective of the top prize.

I think there's a good argument for reducing the top prize to £50k or lower as no-one ever makes any attempt at the £250k. Except it makes a good headlines and gets bums on seats having a huge prize.

People would expect bigger offers though if they had the £500,000 in play and they would most probably still deal early, if not more, as they would most probably be even more worried of turning down a £40k offer and then having a nightmare round.

I would like to see it in play more though. Perhaps they should have the £500,000 on the Saturday games as they are currently the lowest rated episodes and it might generate a bit more interest for the show on Saturdays.
