Lance has become the forum's favourite contestant from shows 1 to 300, beating Pat M by just 4 votes!! Jean (2) aka the Grim/n Reaper was voted as the forum's favourite contestant from shows 301 to 600.

It has to be Jean for me. Lance was great entertainment too, though.

I'm surprised Pat M was ousted by Lance. But I've checked and re-checked the votes several times (well, not several, it's not an election!

) and it seems all ok... quite a few people didn't even put Pat M in their top 10, which is why she's not at # 1...

While Lance was very entertaining as a person, Jean mainly had a character created for her, and had she not had that run of reds in her first few shows, we'd have never had the 'Grin Reaper' stuff and therefore almost everything that made her memorable. That said, she was also entertaining in her own right, like her comment in Andrea's game about the audience wanting to see her crash and burn!

My vote goes to Lance, though - Jean didn't make my top 11 (but might have made my top 20) while Lance stormed into my 1-300 list at number 2!

This poll has now finished... and Lance has become the new forum's favourite contestant, beating his shows 301 - 600 rival Jean off by just 3 votes.

I thought Lance would've easily walked it, actually...

And I'm still quite surprised Pat M wasn't at # 1, but at least it's been better than last time, when Geordie ended up winning due to vote rigging using 3 accounts of his, and votes against Wakey ensured Pat M was 13th and Audrey (?) was 12th or something...

I think the 1-300 battle between Lance and Pat M was always going to be the big one, and once Lance got through it there was never a doubt.

Jean did extremely well though, and I'll always love her for the 'crash and burn' comment!

As said before, Jean was given a character because of her high numbers. Lance was always going to be a character from day one!

And his game was immense, so I went for Lance!

If Jean's first five boxes had been say, £500, £100,000, £10,000, 10p and £3,000 would she have been remembered in the same way?

She did have a lot more going for her than Michaela, say, mind you, who's remembered for similar reasons!
