I have temporarily made this sticky whilst the polls are taking place.

Thanks - makes it easier for people to keep track of it if they wish to.

By the way, Jean has become the second new face in the line-up!

YES!!!! (Especially Charly)! I was worried my absolute faves were cursed in this thing but that's cheered me up a treat!!

I am actually starting to feel a bit guilty for voting against Bunney - I did really like Alan, but on the face of it, he won't be anywhere near as memorable as Bunney in the long-term! Bunney did play on my birthday after all and produce one of the rare big character/big wins combo!

It's just his stupid songs make me want to reach for the mute button.....

Looks like after a start where everyone was backing the old favourites, we're going to see 5 changes in a row in the middle positions! Bunney and Lucy both need an unlikely late comeback to stay in there. Pat M will surely end that sequence though...

Jean and Charly should be easy to put in the wing-image as they stood next to each other (if only for a grand total of one show and the first minute or so of another) but I've complicated things a bit by making sure Jean's in her 'Grin Reaper' costume from Irene's game...

Should be finished by the time the W11 challenge finishes tomorrow, anyway!

Thanks - look forward to seeing it!

Looks like you will have to find a good Eric and Fin one as well for the East Wing...

How are you going to combine the old brick wall set from Season 1 and 2, with the new cave look from this Season, without the wing image looking odd?

Yeah, that's been a bit of a problem, I've had to sort of find ways of blending the two sets together without there being sudden jolts between old and new, using shadows and stuff. You'll see soon enough, anyway!

So our West Wing is complete! Bunney becomes the fifth casualty from the old line-up as Alan replaces him in W11.

Also perhaps the biggest shock to start off the East Wing, as Eric takes the place of 50 show Lucy!

Hope it's not too obvious that Den's box is actually Alan's with a different label, she'd already opened hers by the time she got the hat and jacket!

Some of the decisions have just been silly; Eric was cool, but beating LUCY?! ):

I think a lot of people who voted may not have started watching until well into season 2, meaning that they probably didn't remember who Lucy was. That's why I split my "forum's favourite contestant" polls into two parts - shows 1 - 300 and 301 - 600 - because otherwise if I said "post your top 22 players ever", a lot of newer members would've posted recent contestants and the vote would be skewed. Don't know how you can get around that problem with these polls really, I think it just has to be accepted that the newer members probably will vote for the newer players! (Although having said that I voted Eric, but that was because I preferred him to Lucy...)

I do think Lucy always divided opinion a bit, and she never really had a strong challenger before.

I think she'd probably still have won if it was an open poll of all players going back to the start again, rather than a one against one challenge. Same goes for Bunney, and Jim R if he loses here.

Well I hope Brenda beats Stuart, Vicky beats Pennie, Siobhan beats Dave, and Brian beats Stevie. (:

I really hope Rita beats Jim R, and Brenda beats Stuart.

Because the current winners for those positions are people i really didn't like.

Wow, Jim R stays!! Really didn't expect that!!

I know people say this poll doesn't really matter, but it really matters and I'm happy! :)

(Won't make up for it if VENTRESS loses though!)
