I want to have a nice day out and drag someone along to be in the audience

Has anyone ever travelled to the studios by train from Leeds? If so how much did it cost etc? Also do you just get to see the one show or more?

If I recall if you go in the morning you see only 1 recording but if you go in the afternoon you attend the afternoon and evening recordings.

First time I went I took the train from London to Bristol Temple Meads, it's not long from there and in walking distance.

Three shows a day, morning audience see one show, afternoon audience see two, but I think it's possible to see all three, although they're working 9 to 5 (ooh, that'd make a good song) so only do that if you can handle such a long day! The morning shows always tend to be the better ones for some reason, most of the classic episodes in the history of DOND were the first show of the day.

If you're over 18 and have the chance, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it. I'm lucky to have seen Jackee, Michelle and Dan's games recorded, and opened a blue box in Jackee's (as my avatar shows) and it was an utterly incredible experience, if you think you get into DOND when watching it on TV, you HAVE to see it live, it's all the tension and fun but ten million times bigger!!

I suggest you look at the National Rail Enquiries website: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

rico7 saw all three shows recorded on Tuesday 7th November 2006. I only saw the two afternoon shows.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Urgh. That would've been a good joke. But noooo, divvy has to come along and state the obvious, ruining it for everyone.

I just hope you're proud.
