Mario's game today had me thinking. Which is more painful if you no deal at 5 box in 1 box game, to hit the 1 box straight after no dealing or like Mario to hit it the final box before 2 box?

Definitely hitting it on the last box.

At least hitting it first doesn't build your hopes up then crush them.

I suppose it's just as painful either way really, but I imagine it to be more painful to hit it in the last box than the first, because at least if you hit it in the first box you've got it out of the way whereas if you were to build your hopes up and then take it out in the last box, it would be really annoying to think that you were only one box away from life changing money.

I voted last box at the final 2 really - because of the way it was built up.

Last box in the round because you are so close to that perfect round... and then you lose it right at the last minute. At least if it goes in the first box, you weren't really "close" to the perfect round.

It would be horrible either way, but I suppose the last box would be worse. You'd be forever thinking, "if only I'd picked the other one."

If you have a Dave W-esque unwavering system for which box to open when, it probably doesn't matter.

If you don't, picking it last has to hurt more.

Whilst either situation would be painful if I did what Mario did on Saturday I would forever be thinking 'if only' and I would rather lose the big numbers before than be in a situation like that.

It is much more painful in the last box. Just look at 1p Trevor's game.
