I've just heard 'Scary amounts of Money' are involved, I think It will be good however I will leave an opinion after the show.

Are they doing something different everyday or the same all week? Does anyone know?

I love it!

The set looks great with cobwebs, spiders and coffins...The lightning bolt at the first offer worked well as I jumped out my skin  :P The coffin idea is a very intrestin twist! The treat option is a seemingly safe way of playing so they offers should start rising well as they did today (also means I have to do the stats every box...). The trick option is very intresting if the banker gets to see a box the offer should indicate what it is so it would make sense to leave it to the end and swap it/avoid it depending on the offer.

It's going to be a great week!

The set - I think it's great with all the cobwebs and spiders and stuff - it makes it look very scary.

The lightning bolt at each offer is good too and I think they've raised the volume of it above the volume of everything else on purpose to make it louder - it certainly made me jump each time!

The treat / trick thing I think is leaning towards "pointless gimmick" really... it's an interesting twist, but what happens if they choose trick? Will the banker be really mean and make no offers at all or something? :? Or just offer swaps?!

Overall... I like the set and the effects, but not sure about the treat / trick thing at the 5-box stage... in one word - interesting.

The Bankers Tactics for Ben: Monday

*Open more than one box per round.
*Offer Trick or Treat
-Treat:
Get £1,000 and open 1 box a round.

- Trick:
Banker takes his choice from any remaining box on the wings.

Ben had a disasterous proveout finding £20,000 (Judy), £750(Ajay) and 1p (Tina) leaving 15k and 50k left however he had 15k in his box.

Yeah, I don't think it will make a real difference, half the players would never swap and if you really wanted too the Banker usually obliges.

I thought Noel said that the swap had something to do with the boxes that'll be in the coffin though?!

The reason for the guaranteed swap I guess is that it would be really unfair if the Banker knew the contents of one of the boxes but no swap was offered.

For example, otherwise it could be a 1p/£100,000 finish and the Banker could offer 2p and no swap, knowing that the remaining box on the wings contains £100,000 and the player has the 1p!

Look at KP's ITV08 and then you get an idea of what he'd be offering ;)

Exactly! And how brilliant will it be if he does offer 2p in that scenario with a guaranteed swap. Do you take the swap thinking he would never offer 2p if he knew you had the £100,000? If is he bluffing you? It's brilliant, deep and complex. Very, very shortsighted to think otherwise.

Or he might even offer just the swap like in PJ's game... (well, I suppose a 2p offer would be effectively a straight swap offer anyway.) If I was in that situation I'd be opening the box the Banker looked in straight away (assuming I wasn't blindfolded so I couldn't see which one it was of course!)

The Trick will be good aswell as bad...

if these boxes contain

10p (Shaz)

£250,000 (Tina)

and £75,000 Your box

The banker chooses to see Shaz's box and he may want to come in with a huge offer to make sure the player walks

although he could trick the player into thinking they have a low value box by offering a lowish offer....

I really liked the Haloween set. The cynical side of me thinks that whatever box Ben had picked would have had treat in it. It seems VERY unfair that the banker can see one of the box values.
