It's something we haven't seen done yet, but I suspect they may do in the future just to surprise everyone.

How would you feel if you were chosen to play on your first show at the dream factory?

I would actually be quite annoyed if they did that to me as part of the enjoyment of being on the show (apart from trying to win a load of money of course) is getting to know your fellow contestants back at the hotel and the fun you have at the studio. If you were there for just one episode that wouldn't even be a day's filming. Or perhaps you'd actually be glad to get your show done and go back home as quick as possible?

I would be upset for not being able to enjoy the experience.

Well they'd never do that really as contestants don't do less than 11 shows. i'd be annoyed as I wouldn't have had time to witness shows and give advice.

The only person this has happened to is show 1 Lynn for obvious reasons.

And Garvan, who played after 9 shows ;)

But yes, with the exception of people like James (11 shows) and Stephen (10 shows), who were forced to play early because of the Battle of the Sexes, people tend to stay between 1 and 2 weeks, depending on how long they've got off work.

Remember a typical week on set is 15 shows.

I would be really gutted, upset and annoyed. I mean DOND is a once in a lifetime opportunity, what a waste it would be if you got picked on your very first show.

Same for me... I'd also feel a bit of a fool playing after only one show. :?

I did feel a bit sorry for Lynn, maybe they should have had a celeb on the first show. So all contestants could have had atleast one show in the wings that isn't a celeb.

In that case, Noel would never have done the show.

I'd stay for a week or so would suit me 15 -16 shows but after that amount of time I might get a bit restless and homesick.

When you get asked to go on DoND, you're told you'll appear in a minimum of 10 shows and a maximum of 30.

That's interesting, we've exceeded both those limits before, most recently when Danielle from last month did 31 shows!

Once a contestant's done over 30 they must think they'll never get picked!

Well, apart from the first ever contestants and ones who didn't play, only Garvan has done less than 10 - and I seem to remember reading that he had a reason for needing to leave early and they let him play.

We've had a fair number do just over 30 though. Although only Lucy has stayed for more than 33 I think.

That is not true - there is nothing in the rules that says you gave to do a certain number of shows - and I think there will be atime when they take someone after just a couple.

It is increadibly boring if they just do everyone in order of how long (or near enough that way)

Pam
