I was at the Edinburgh audition late March, wondering if anyone has heard owt from auditions around that time.

Date removed due to some little tospot winding me up that I'd failed.

We heard a rumour a while back that people were told not to post on the net once they recieved their call.
That could account for it

I was at the 31/3 audition and I'm guessing this week will be the earliest we hear back. They were filming for the 2 weeks after the audition and this is their week off so maybe this week the researchers will be showing forms and tapes to the people who make the decisions. However, I haven't left my phone unattended since the audition - just in case my theory is wrong!

Got a few e-mails today. First asked if it was OK to e-mail my result. Second is ...

Did you email them to ask them how you did or do you think they are now emailing NO letters ? I'm gutted that you got that email though - it would be awesome if someone from this forum got on !

I was at the Feb auditions and we were simply told that we would simply never know ! No letter, no email etc so maybe they might email us these letters too ???

The e-mail really is a bit *beep* isn't it! Builds your hopes up in paras 1 and 2 and then boom, KB.

Wasn't for me, move on etc, just letting you guys know that contrary to being told "you'll only hear if we want you", that I did actually get a KB e-mail.

They contacted me via the e-mail address that I put on their forms. I never asked for my result.

I am very disappointed for you Jimbo but delighted that e-mails are apparently being sent out. Personally, even if the news were bad, I would rather know one way or the other and I am sure that others on this forum feel the same way. There seems to be loads of people waiting for a result and this seems an improvement to just being left to "hang" not knowing.

On a brighter note, try not to be too discouraged, at least you tried, lots of people wouldn't have the nerve to sit in front of a camera for even 5 minutes, daunting or what!!

Where abouts in the alphabet do you sit Jimbo ? Just that i auditionned before you but they will probably input the names alphabetically !! Thanks.

No need for the sympathy guys, I'm not too bothered, it obviously wasn't for me. (wait until tomorrow when it sinks it, then I might feel differently).

Something tells me this is a red herring!

Methinks I have been suckered by a spoof


Well its not the first time and it won't be the last

Also, that letter which Jimbo posted has "disappointed" spelt as "dissapointed", so either Mr Jimbo is trying to fool us or Mr Jimbo has been spoofed.

Also "success" was spelt wrongly.

Beginning to think it may be a spoof actually. (i.e. someone is winding me up!).

Two things though, how could they get my e-mail address and did they just guess my name?

The e-mail was addressed to "Dear James", which was the name I used in my application form.

If no-one else is getting e-mails, it could be a spoof, so I might still be in with a shout!!
