I have an idea, for a short-term game change, similar to the boys vs girls, this time with the board itself.

For 22 games, one amount would be randomly doubled on the board. The amount would be the same as the one chosen in the first box of the previous show, or selected using another method.

The colour of the amount would be different to make it stand out, say green or yellow, and would be repositioned on the board if it's worth more than the next amount.

To make things fair, the banker would have to decide on the next player, before the doubled amount is known.

So you can have £250,000 increase to £500,000, or maybe just 1p to 2p. Anything could happen.

An idea which the DoND team are free to use and develop, if they're reading. :)

Oh! I don't read the spoiler forum or the Mirror, so I didn't know. :?

The above idea would be interesting, though. Thinking on the same lines. :P

It is a good idea!

Just for the record, this year's Christmas shows aren't going to be £500,000 specials; apparently they think having 'the general public' involved is special enough - fair point! :D

Haha!

Oh, imagine the fun of a board that went £35k, £75k, £100k, £100k, £250k. :D

£35k, £50k, £75k, £100k, £500k would just be TERRIFYING. The Wakeys would hate it because it has early deal potential!

£35k, £50k, £100k, £150k, £250k on the other hand...
