The first programme of the new batch of recordings will be broadcast in a week's time, if the filming dates thread is anything to go by (which seems to be accurate judging from what I've read in the spoilers section about other shows).

The last episode before the summer filming break was recorded on Friday 15th June and will be shown on Friday 23rd November. The first episode of the autumn recordings which started on Monday 1st October will be shown on Saturday 24 November.

This means whilst on-screen, there'll be a gap of one day, in reality, it was a gap of 3 and a half months!

This last happened with the summer filming break last year - Jeff King's game was recorded on Friday 16 June and shown Wednesday 25 October, and Elizabeth and Mandy's game was recorded on Monday 2nd October and shown Thursday 26th October.

Last time it happened, Noel looked a bit different and a bit more tanned (as did some of the contestants)... and there were a few set changes too... so look out for any subtle (or not so subtle!) differences between the Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th episodes...

So when Friday's game is shown, the latest episode a pilgrim could have seen on TV was Pippa's. On Saturday's, it'll be Stuart's. That means they'd have seen:

The contestants on TV at the time would jump from players like Adam and Eric to Ed and Little Rich, that's a huge jump! Will definitely try and look for changes when the time comes!

I wonder if we'll see a few more comedy deals after the 24th. I think there was four around about that time (Igor, Irene, Vicky and Robin). I suppose the downside to the filming break is that the contestants will have seen the trainwrecks that Battle of the Sexes provided, so they may be a bit more cautious. I think we'll be seeing a few early deals in the next few months, as people will want a bit of extra cash for Christmas.

I expected we would see at least one person disappear temporarily over the long filming break last year, just because the filming schedule didn't allow them to return at that time - but it didn't happen. I wonder if anyone from the waiting 22 will be missing in the first show of the new series this time?

Ooh that's very interesting, as November 24th happens to be my birthday. I hope DOND gives a few positive changes as a "birthday present" to me.

It was interesting to see some subtle changes last year when in our eyes it's the space of a day but in reality it was over 3 months.

I'll be looking out on Saturday to see what I can spot.

I wonder if Ashleigh's throat will have mysteriously cleared up overnight...

Tomorrow's show will be the last recorded of summer 2007, on Friday 15th June at about 5pm. The last of summer 2006 was Jeff King's show and he won £64,000, meaning that they finished recording on a high. I wonder if tomorrow's show will leave them on a similar high? Also the newbie in tomorrow's show will have done one show, then will have to wait nearly 4 months before they film their next show!

Maybe they're being cautious at the moment becuase they'd have just watched Pippa and Adam's spectacular crashes from £16,500 and £20,000 respectively, to pennies!

Then again Rodney would be fresh in their minds too....

Maybe Pippa is the reason why £16,500 is being offered and taken all the time!
